My name is Adam Horsky. I am an aspiring filmmaker looking to focus on screenwriting, though I am just as interested in other areas of film such as cinematography, lighting, and editing. I love to analyze and explore sociological or historical ideas through film. I also love films like The Holdovers and The Lighthouse. Some of my favorite filmmakers include Greta Gerwig and Robert Eggers. I took a gap year after graduating a year early from Patterson Mill High School and went to SOCAPAS's 3-week film camp during the summer of 2021, creating films that were screened at festivals and even won awards. However, now, I am excited to enter Temple University to major in Film and Media Arts with a concentration in Screenwriting and minor in Classics in the Fall of 2022. I have been involved in several clubs, including Temple SMASH, Temple's Improv Team The Parliament, Insomnia Theater, and the Temple University Fencing Club.
