My name is Adam Horsky. I am screenwriter and filmmaker. I love to analyze and explore sociological or historical ideas through a queer lens, exploring relationships and identity in a realistic way. Some of my favorite filmmakers include Luca Guadagnino, Ryan Coogler, and Alexander Payne. I took a gap year after graduating a year early from Patterson Mill High School and went to SOCAPAS's 3-week film camp during the summer of 2021. In 2026, I am now a Temple University graduate with a major in Film and Media Arts with a concentration in Screenwriting and minor in Classics. During my time, I have been involved in several clubs, including Temple SMASH, Temple's Improv Team The Parliament, Insomnia Theater, and the Temple University Fencing Club. During my sophomore year, I was awarded the Ben and Minnie Lazaroff Screenwriting Award and the Adam Grickis Memorial Scholarship. In addition, I have worked as videographer for the Center for the Performing and Cinematic Arts at Temple University and for the social media department at Temple Rome during my time studying abroad. I have also had the pleasure to work with multiple independent artists and my peers as a production assistant, art department assistant, script supervisor, and casting director.
